Kelly & Cole | Classic and Elegant Downtown Fort Worth Ballroom Wedding

Before the Big Day:

Kelly and I became fast friends while planning her magical big day! We had both attended TCU and were members of the same sorority, so planning her wedding was a special treat for me. Kelly’s style was classic, elegant, and formal, which matched perfectly with her color scheme of blush, white, and gold! Once their design board was finalized, Kelly and Cole let me hand pick each of their vendors and let me have complete free reign with their reception design!

The Wedding:

Kelly and Cole tied the knot at the TCU Robert Carr Chapel (where they both attended school) and danced the night away amongst loved ones at the Fort Worth Club! The day started with the girls getting ready at the Fort Worth Club, sharing mimosas and laughs while in their adorable matching robes. Meanwhile, Cole and his groomsmen were getting ready at the Fort Worth Club’s sports lounge! As if you didn’t need any more proof that Kelly and Cole were made for each other, they had chosen to exchange gifts on the wedding day, and they gifted each other THE SAME THING! Kelly and Cole wrote letters to each other throughout their relationship, and they each saved those letters, framed them, and gave them to each other as a wedding gift.. it seriously does not get any cuter than that!

Kelly and Cole’s ceremony took place at the chapel on TCU’s campus, with simple floral arrangements and a live string ensemble. Guests were then invited to the Fort Worth Club for the cocktail hour and reception! Kelly and Cole’s elegant ballroom reception was dripping in gorgeous flowers, but the real show stopper was their 8ft floral halo that encompassed the chandelier over the dance floor. Guests enjoyed Kelly and Cole’s signature cocktail, named “Kobe” after their dog and danced all night on the beautiful white acrylic dance floor. At the end of the night, Kelly and Cole exited to a tunnel of loved ones tossing rose petals, the perfect end to the perfect day!

Their Story in Pictures:

Kelly and Cole’s wedding photos were so amazing that I just couldn’t narrow them down! (Huge shoutout to Avery Earl Photography) So for your viewing pleasure, I have broke up their pictures into categories to make sure you didn’t miss a thing! Keep scrolling down to see all of Kelly and Cole’s Detail, Getting Ready, First Look, Ceremony, and Reception Pictures!

The Details

Kelly and Cole’s wedding details were all carefully chosen with their initial design board in mind! We wanted decor that would convey elegance and sophistication, with a touch of whim!

Getting Ready

Kelly and her bridesmaids sipped on champagne in their matching robes and slippers in the bridal suite at the Fort Worth Club. Meanwhile Cole and his groomsmen were just a floor away enjoying the Sport Club Bar. Of course we made time for Kelly and Cole to exchange gifts privately before the ceremony!

The First Look(s)

Kelly and Cole chose not to do a first look with each other, but that didn’t stop them from doings lots of ‘first looks’ throughout the day! Kelly did a first look with her bridesmaids, as well as a first look with her dad and brother! Kelly and Cole also chose to do a ‘first look’ of their reception space! (which is something I highly recommend!) They were able to see the ballroom before any guests were allowed in, which allowed them to take in the gorgeous final product of all their hard months of planning!

The Ceremony

Kelly and Cole’s ceremony was held at their alma mater- TCU. The ceremony finished just in time for an unexpected hail storm- but this couple didn’t let a little rain (and thunder/lightening/hail) ruin their day!

The Party!

Guests made their way to the Fort Worth Club for the cocktail hour and reception where the danced the night away under the gorgeous floral halo!
