Jenna & Reid

Before the Big Day:

I had so much fun planning this wedding with Jenna and Reid and their entire family! Lots of coffee shop meetings and vendor visits went into the stunning classic design of their big day. Jenna was very specific with her vision, in wanting hues of greys and whites, with accents of greenery, and I think we nailed it! We also slipped in some fun details (like that gorgeous Phone Booth) that paid homage to their London love story, which you can read more about here!

The Wedding:

Jenna and Reid tied the knot at The Laurel in Grapvine! They chose this specific venue for its proximity to the air port because not only were a lot of guests from out of town, but out of the country! Jenna and Reid first met in London, so their loved ones were coming from all over. The design for their wedding day was centered around simple elegance and neutrals to create a timeless reception. Something Pretty Floral created another gorgeous halo to center the dance floor, and accented the stage, head table, and fireplace mantle with lush greenery runners. But the real showstopper was the London Phone Booth decked out in flowers for guests to take pictures in during the cocktail hour and reception! Pink Champagne Designs created all of the stationery for Jenna and Reid’s big day, including a foil press invitation, custom monogram, reception signage, and much more! Guests danced the night away to The Pictures Band, all the way from Austin and ended the night with a fabulous sparkler exit to send the bride and groom off with style!

Their Story in Pictures:

Jenna and Reid’s big day was covered in the tiniest and most thought out details, which in turn, makes for LOTS of pictures! (Huge shoutout to Lindsay Davenport Photography) Keep scrolling down to see all of Jenna and Reid’s Details, Getting Ready, Ceremony, and Reception Pictures!

The Design

Jenna and Reid’s love story was so unique, and we chose to incorporate those special touches throughout the wedding day! Check out the handkerchief wrapped around Jenna’s bouquet, the London skyline on their details card, the Tiramisu Groom’s dessert ( a tribute to the Groom’s Italian heritage), and the PIMM’s cocktail (a London specialty)!

Getting Ready

Jenna and her bridesmaids enjoyed brunch and mimosas in the bridal suite at the Laurel while Reid and his groomsmen were just a room away in their own suite! Jenna and Reid chose not to do a first look before the ceremony, but that didn’t stop them from getting lots of photos with loved ones before the walk down the aisle!

The Ceremony

Jenna and Reid’s ceremony was held in the chapel of The Laurel. Their ceremony was accented with a wood cross at the altar adorned with lush flowers and an aisle lit with floating candles! A string quartet set the mood for this intimate and romantic ceremony.

The Party!

Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour out on the patio with specialty Pimm’s cocktails and a London Phone Booth for that perfect #instamoment. They danced the night away under the floral halo and dressed up in glow stick flower crowns, while the band made their way throughout the crowd to party with the bride and groom! Jenna and Reid made their sparkler exit into a white vintage car where they were whisked away as husband and wife!
